It was just a well-suited match for a weekend escape in Auburn with great value-to-price ratio. The epicurean delight of the full breakfast prepared by the chef was the highlight of my stay. Make sure to try the omelets. they are incredible.

A warm welcome and comfy stay
Had such a cozy experience! The mansion's decor is super charming, and we felt really at home thanks to Alfred. He made breakfast that was not only tasty but filling too. Only thing was the Wi-Fi was kinda spotty in our room, but honestly, it didn’t ruin the vibe.

The room was super cozy with a private bathroom, shower, and heated floors. Enjoyed the nice linens and fresh towels every day. Alfred whipped up an amazing gourmet breakfast with fresh fruit and blueberry scones. The fireplace in the lounge added a nice vibe for relaxing. Perfect spot for exploring downtown!

We had an amazing time with friends at this historic mansion! The cozy atmosphere and charming antiques made our stay so enjoyable. We also explored the nearby lakes for fishing and went biking at the Olympic Bike Shop. Alfred's homemade breakfast was a highlight, and he treated us like family. Just know that if you’re after modern amenities, this place might not be for you. We'll be back for sure!
The only downside was the lack of modern amenities, which might put off some guests.

Ideal for family retreats
Had an amazing time, especially during breakfast where Alfred served these delicious blueberry scones and his famous fresh fruit salad. The cozy room had this charming vibe, and it made us feel like we were stepping back in time, ya know, like right into the past.
It wasn't the cheapest stay either, but you get what you pay for and then some.

The grilled goodness at Smoky Texas Style Barbeque was a flavor bomb! Plus, Alfred's homemade breakfast had us feeling like royalty. The history of the place just added to the charm, making it a fab time with friends.
The only hiccup? A sprinkle of old-school vibes with modern amenities absent, but that just added to the character, right?

A unique stay with room for improvement
I enjoyed the quirky decor and the atmosphere. The breakfast served was a delightful highlight, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. However, the room layout lacked privacy, and upgrades would enhance comfort. Choose a room with a better setup for a more enjoyable stay.
